
Sometimes they have some insane bargains, like the 27" EA274 I picked up for $130. Why not just get a decent display for your PC? Check out refurbished options at. Will it work with photoshop cc? I was thinking of upgrading the ram to 16gb at some stage and putting a ssd into it.

I'd be able to replace the hdd with a ssd comfortably. These Macs have only USB 2.0 ports, not USB 3.0 ones.

If you are not comfortable with working on delicate equipment, you might want to consider having a third-party repair shop install the SSD for you.

These Macs do not have user-serviceable drive bays. The official limit is 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) – but MacTracker claims they can take 32 GB. I don't know what Adobe plans to do with future Photoshop CC requirements, so I don't know how soon the inability to run Mojave and later might become an issue.Ģ1.5" mid-2011 iMacs have user-upgradable RAM. Photoshop CC requires Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) or later. Was only going to use it for lightroom, photoshop, web browsing and college work. So I was looking at picking up a second hand imac mid 2011. I have a main pc but I find it hard to edit on a tn monitor.
